Devonshires Solicitors LLP is working with the Association of British Commuters Limited, which is a not for profit company set up to give a voice to rail users suffering on the Southern Rail network.

Solicitor Matthew Garbutt said: “We are instructed to investigate the circumstances of the Southern Rail fiasco with a view to bringing judicial review proceedings that will challenge the Government’s handling of the Govia Thameslink Railway franchise. We are encouraged to see that so many rail users have already pledged their support. We would urge all rail users and business who are not satisfied with Southern Rail to lend their support to this action by visiting www.crowdjustice.co.uk/case/southernrail. We call on the DfT to engage fully and transparently with the Association and answer the tough questions.

“Any rail users wishing to have an active role within the Association, or offer information that may assist the action, may write to us at southernclaim@devonshires.co.uk. All contact will be treated in the strictest confidence by Devonshires Solicitors  and the Association.”
