Training at Devonshires is challenging, exciting and varied.

Your development as a trainee is fundamental to the growth and success of our business so we go to great lengths to give you all the help you need.

We will want you to demonstrate your strength and resolve at all times and hit above and beyond our expectations!

You will always be provided with timely and constructive feedback with a formal performance review attended by you, your training supervisor and the HR Manager at the end of each seat rotation. Our aim then will be to appraise your previous six months achievements, but more importantly the successes that you will be expected to achieve, experience and develop going forward.

We embrace an 'open-door' policy which enables you to benefit from expert knowledge, inclusion and communication. In return you will be expected to work hard and contribute 100% to the department in which you work and to the firm as a whole.

Close supervision will be provided by many of our partners to include Andrew Cowan, Gareth Hall, Julie Bradley and Nick Billingham. This means that you will enjoy a highly engaged extended audience of fee earners and support staff who will at all times be interested in your achievements.

A work hard play hard ethic and attitude is widely embraced at Devonshires and we encourage all of our employees to participate in the extra curricular activities the firm supports.

In-house social events are a good way of getting to know others across the firm and making new friends. Sporting events with clients and an active after-work social life all help to create a friendly atmosphere.
