Jane is a Partner in Devonshires Property Department and deals with all aspects of property transactions and advice including stock transfers and acquisition and development. Jane is the head of our Sales and Leasehold transactions team set up to service the needs of the leasehold services department of our Registered Provider clients. This specialist team deals with Registered Provider specific Leasehold transactions such as Right to Buy/Acquire and mortgage rescue, as well as all issues arising from the Registered Providers status as the Landlord of a large leasehold portfolio such as the growth area of Lease Extensions and enfranchisement as well as acquisition and disposals programmes and stock rationalisation and our Title Audit Service.
Jane is also a member of several of Devonshires' inter-departmental specialist teams including the Stock Transfer Team advising Registered Providers taking transfers of Local Authority stock on all Landlord & Tenant aspects of the transfer and the Care Team providing dedicated specialist advice and assistance for care providers. Jane also provides training on all aspects of Registered Provider property related issues.
Jane has a previous career as a Housing Management litigator both at Devonshires and previously at the London Borough of Newham
