Our Banking Team works very closely with our Projects and Property Teams to ensure that the funding and project documentation “dovetail”; that the funders’ requirements can be achieved and are consistent with the aims of the project; and that their requirements regarding provision of security are smoothly complied with.
Our advice covers the complete range of funding documentation: senior credit agreement, junior debt or equity, stand-alone interest rate derivatives, residual value deeds, account charge agreements, security trusts and bank guarantees/letters of credit. We act on the establishment of special purpose vehicles, frequently as joint venture vehicles. We are familiar with the standard documentation issued for such projects as NHS LIFT and Building Schools for the Future.
