Kenya deals with a range of matters in relation to Housing Management including disrepair, ASB injunctions, access injunctions and possession.

Kenya works with a number of social landlords in England and Wales as she is also part of the Wales Team following the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 coming into force.

Experience

Immediately prior to joining Devonshires in September 2022, Kenya carried out legal research for a law firm based in London.

Notable Cases

Kenya recently drafted the pleadings for two cases in which without notice ASB injunctions were successfully obtained at Court. In addition, Kenya has recently drafted the pleadings for two cases in which access injunctions were successfully obtained at Court.

Kenya has recently settled several disrepair cases outside of court in accordance with the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Conditions Claims.

Kenya has recently attended a client’s office to assist with creating summaries of the client’s stage one and stage two complaints.
