Anna Bennett, Partner, Housing Management and Property Litigation
Anna advises and represents clients on all areas of housing management and property litigation, from nuisance, subletting and bogus succession claims, through to disrepair cases and wider leasehold and boundary disputes.
Outside of litigation, Anna also regularly carries out and reviews tenancies, policies and procedure for her clients.
Anna has a particular interest in working with Housing Co-operatives and the challenges faced by those clients.
Anna is also the main point of contact for work we do for the Private Rented Sector.
Rory Matheson, Associate, Housing Management and Property Litigation
Rory has recently joined Devonshires having built up considerable experience acting for tenants in housing disputes. His areas of expertise cover possession, disrepair, homelessness, public law and human rights issues. He has also acted on community care matters including housing adaptations for people with disabilities, and migrant support matters including age assessment cases.
Rory’s legal career began as a volunteer at North Kensington Law Centre. He moved to Osbornes Law as a housing Paralegal in 2015. He obtained a training contract with the firm and qualified in September 2020 into the housing team, before moving to Devonshires in 2024.
