Areas of Expertise
James has considerable experience acting in housing litigation matters, having previously worked as a Paralegal in a well-established North London law firm. James routinely worked in residential possession matters, housing disrepair matters and homelessness law. James also has a background in public and administrative law as well as community care matters.
James joined Devonshires on 15 November 2021 to work in the Housing Management & Property Litigation Department.
Experience
James worked as a Housing Paralegal in a North London Firm based in Finchley from 2016 – 2017.
James then worked as a Litigation Paralegal in a leading North London law firm from 2017 – 2021 acting across a variety of practice areas including: housing; community care; and public and administrative law.
Education
James attained an upper second class degree from Queen Mary University Of London in 2016.
James is currently studying for the Legal Practice Course, with Legal Masters (LPC, LLM) at the University of Law (London Bloomsbury), which will be completed in 2022.
Personal
In his spare time James likes to read, play guitar and weightlift.
James has been playing guitar since he was 12 years old and whenever he is not playing the instrument he likes attending concerts to see his favourite bands perform.
