Saghar Roya, Partner, Property Securitisation
Saghar specialises in advising clients, ranging from Smaller Registered Providers to G15 members, on all aspects of the Securitisation process in the charging of security under varying loan facilities, private placements, public bonds and EMTN programmes ranging from £1 million to £1 billion. In addition, Saghar’s broad knowledge and experience includes acting for clients on mergers and group restructurings, large-scale refinancing transactions, and development finance.
Saghar also heads the sub-team of the Securitisation Department dedicated to Smaller Registered Providers. This sub-team provides specialist advice on all securitisation matters as well as bespoke training aimed at helping Smaller Registered Providers maximise and enhance their property portfolios and upskilling their staff.
Lucy Vannet, Partner, Real Estate & Projects
Lucy has experience in commercial and residential transactions on behalf of registered providers, charities and private individuals and works with our Plot Sales team on site set ups and sales. Lucy also works closely with the senior members of the team to assist on more complex and high value matters such as joint venture agreements, property development and regeneration.
Before beginning her training contract at Devonshires, Lucy worked as a policy adviser in a central Government Department and prior to that spent a year living and working in New York for an executive headhunting company.
Manjutha Vamananathan, Associate, Property Securitisation
Manjutha is an Associate our Securitisation team. Manjutha is part of a team that advises Registered Providers and Housing Association in the charging of residential street properties and developments as securities for loans and bonds. Manjutha regularly carries out deeds of variations for clients looking to uplift the value of their properties as well as making them suitable for charging to lenders.
