Devonshires act for MTVH on their c£1bn Clapham Park Regeneration Joint Venture

We are absolutely delighted to have acted for Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) on their joint venture with Countryside, in connection with regeneration of the Clapham Park estate.

Led by Caroline Mostowfi, Partner in our Real Estate & Projects Team, we initially advised MTVH on the early stages of the scheme, including on their planning application (one the largest full detailed planning applications in the UK) and related Section 106 Agreement.  We continued to act on the procurement process of their appointment of a joint venture partner, advising on a broad range of matters including governance, property/development, title, data protection and construction matters.

The multi-phase regeneration scheme will deliver just shy of 2,500 homes across 17 sites over 6 Phases when complete, with the scheme having a development land value of over a £1bn and over half of dwellings to be delivered being affordable housing. The scheme will also comprise new commercial retail units, community space, highway and infrastructure improvements.

The Real Estate & Projects team comprised Caroline Mostowfi, Kris Kelliher, Jonathan JarvisPhilip Evans, Jamie Leonard, Jo Bouloux, Lale Ali and Lewis Zeff with support provided from the Banking, Governance & Corporate team by Julian Barker, Michelle Mullen and Shamilla Atta.

This deal has also been picked up in the Evening Standard.
