Devonshires grows Birmingham office with new Partner hire


We’re delighted to welcome Baljit Basra who joins Devonshires as a Partner increasing our total number of Partners to 55.

Baljit Basra joins Devonshires from Anthony Collins Solicitors LLP. Baljit is a Housing Litigation lawyer who is joining our 50-strong Housing Management and Property Litigation team led by Donna McCarthy.

Baljit has 20 plus years of experience in various matters including training Registered Providers, Court Advocacy, disrepair, Statutory nuisance, possession and advising on Policy and Procedures.

The arrival of Baljit Basra follows a continuous period of growth for us following the promotion of five Solicitors to Partner namely; Rachel Orgill-Harris, Natalie Swales, Carlos Fernandes, Joanna Bouloux and Pauline Lépissier.

Baljit will be based in the Birmingham office which was opened in March 2022. She will be leading the Birmingham Housing Management and Property Litigation team which sits alongside our teams in London and Leeds.
