Devonshires adds two new partners


We are delighted to welcome Anna Buch and Asif Patel to the partnership.

Anna is a new hire for Devonshires, having worked as a consultant in the Commercial Litigation Team since March 2016. Anna specialises all aspects of white collar crime and civil recovery actions.  She also regularly advises foreign Governments as well as individuals on a range of matters including civil litigation, extradition and immigration. Anna is a developing a business with clients who have Russian as their first language as well as Governments, Companies and Individuals.

Anna said: “I’m delighted to start this new stage of my career with Devonshires and work closely with individuals who are experts in their fields. Devonshires’ reputation for work in commercial litigation is second to none and I am looking forward to continuing my work and contribution in the growth of this department.”

Asif joined Devonshires as a trainee and qualified into the Construction department in 2013. Asif has developed a singular expertise in both contentious and non-contentious areas of construction law, taking the lead in running and managing several high value projects and offering strategic contentious and non-contentious construction advice in the private, corporate and public sectors. Asif has a proven track record of robustly defending his clients and their commercial interests.

Asif said: “I’m really pleased to be promoted to Partner at Devonshires. I have been supported by the firm since I joined as a Trainee Solicitor and to be part of a successful firm which continually encourages its employees to develop and grow is rewarding.”
