Devonshires take part in Prudential RideLondon

On Sunday 4 August, members from Devonshires took part in Prudential RideLondon, raising money for our previous partner charity my AFK.

Charlotte Benson-Goring, Conor Rodgers, Delores Kenlock and James Grinstead all took part in the cycle, riding the London-Surrey route. The route, totalling 100 miles, began in Stratford before heading south and looping through Surrey, finishing back in London at The Mall.

Despite one accident and two punctures, our team managed to complete the course and raise an impressive £1,267.50, including Gift Aid.

The funds raised will allow my AFK to continue the fantastic work that they do, empowering young disabled people through providing employment, training and equipment which is otherwise unavailable on the NHS.

Congratulations to those who took part, and a big thank you to all of those who have donated and helped fund a great cause.
