This session will explore the different approaches to care home development and focus on particular nuances which apply to both the construction and longer term occupation considerations where a lease approach is used. We will explore specific terms which should be carefully considered as part of any deal from a tenant/provider’s perspective.

Caroline is part of our cross-departmental Health and Care team and a Partner in our Real Estate and Projects Team. Caroline works with a large number of care providers across England and Wales. Her focus is on development projects and disposals and acquisitions including transfers of going concern, public-private partnerships and joint ventures.
Kathryn is part of our cross-departmental Health and Care team who work with a large number of care providers across England and Wales and provide a diverse range of legal services to the care sector. Kathryn has experience in advising clients on the development and management of care facilities, as well as regulatory requirements.
