Neil’s responsibilities include conducting housing litigation which involves defending disrepair claims and advising clients of settlements, bringing actions for nuisance such as possession proceedings, Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions, bringing possession actions for unlawful sub-letting, non-occupation and disputed succession claims. Neil also conducts general property litigation which includes both residential and commercial properties. This includes claims for forfeiture, business lease renewal claims under Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, service charge disputes including recovery of unpaid service charges and s20 consultation and Judicial Review. Neil also provides non-contentious advice in respect of housing and leasehold management and general property matters.

Rebecca advises and accepts instructions from Local Authorities and Registered Providers on all aspects of housing and tenancy management, including possession claims and injunction applications based on a wide range of issues such as Anti-Social Behaviour, tenancy fraud, sub-letting, rent arrears, access issues and other breaches of tenancy. Rebecca also advises on disrepair, service charge disputes and general property litigation in both the County Court and the First-tier Property Tribunal.
