Devonshires and First Actuarial are delighted to be hosting joint sessions in London and Leeds to Registered Providers on sector pensions’ risks and risk management/mitigation options. As recognised leaders in legal and actuarial matters in the sector, our two organisations have worked alongside each other for a number of providers, and between us we have delivered a series of ‘firsts’ with SHPS and different LGPS Funds to enable clients to manage and mitigate their pensions risks in various situations.
The HCA’s Sector Risk Profile for 2016 makes clear that pension provision is potentially a “significant risk” for providers. It encourages Registered Providers to take a view on the balance between cost, recruitment and retention, and to regularly review pensions’ provision to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
Our seminar is an opportunity to ensure you fully understand the risks and to learn about what you might be able to do if you decide that changes should be considered to your current arrangements.
