HELP TO BUY UPDATE: DLUHC has further extended the First and Second Completion Date

DLUHC has issued the latest guidance to Help to Buy buyers:

Your homebuilder will be able to apply to allow you to legally complete your purchase up to 31 May 2023.

If this extension is in place, your homebuilder has until 28 April 2023 to finish building your home.

This extra time is only available to approved homebuyers with an Authority to Proceed (ATP) or Authority to Exchange (ATE).

If an extension has not been agreed:

• Your home will need to be practically complete by 17 March 2023; and
• You will need to legally complete your purchase by 31 March 2023.
