Andrew Cowan and Kirsty Thompson join HQN video blog on the recent Kids Company High Court judgment

Andrew Cowan, Partner and Head of Social Housing, and Kirsty Thompson, Partner in our Employment team, have spoke on Housing Quality Network’s new video blog, discussing the recent High Court judgment on Kids Company.

In 2015, the charity Kids Company collapsed. However, a recent High Court judgment cleared the charity’s directors, following an attempt by the Official Receiver to ban them (arguing that they were unfit to hold directorships because of their handling of the charity).

Andrew and Kirsty join Alistair McIntosh, CEO of Housing Quality Network, and discuss the case and the question of how we undertake governance matters in the housing sector based on this High Court decision.
