Devonshires advises Fixit Medical Ltd on its first round of investment from Igraine plc

Fixit Medical, a medical device research and development company has for several years been designing, developing and innovating a revolutionary design of a next-generation drainage catheter fixation device (Cingo).

Dr Robert Ward (the CEO of Fixit Medical and inventor of Cingo), is a specialist in vascular and interventional radiology and has developed the most advanced and patient-centric drainage catheter fixation device available today.

Dr Robert Ward has said that “This investment will go some way towards allowing patients and healthcare institutions to enjoy the benefits of this game-changing technology compared to current fixation methods, with no associated management costs”. Igraine plc is an investment company focused on breakthrough innovative technologies and discoveries in the healthcare and life sciences sectors – the pairing will now help the commercialisation phase of the Cingo device.

When asked about how Dr Robert Ward felt Devonshires delivered on their services he said that “Prasan Modasia at Devonshires has been invaluable in helping our company get a complex shareholders agreement over the line and taking on new shareholders. He has turned around all aspects of the process quickly and efficiently which has been a great help.”

Paul Johnson, CEO of Larvotto Group Limited also said that “Prasan and the Devonshire team have been the model of speed and efficiency in getting all our paperwork completed and filed. From start to finish the service has been exemplary. We look forward to continuing working with you”.

We are delighted to work with Fixit Medical as they continue to develop their medical device.
