Devonshires maintains 100% newly-qualified retention rate for two years running

National law firm Devonshires has retained 100% of its newly-qualified lawyers for the second year running

The cohort of six 2020 NQs will take up positions across a range of practice areas including litigation & dispute resolution, real estates & projects, banking, governance & corporate and employment. The firm has an average NQ retention rate of 87% over the past five years.

Devonshires welcomes a further four trainees starting this month (October) who join eight trainees progressing into their second year.

Nick Billingham, Partner and Training Principal at the firm, said: “We are delighted to announce a second year of 100% retention of our newly-qualified solicitors. At Devonshires we are committed to offering a nurturing environment in which young lawyers can develop their skills. That all of the trainees in the past two years have chosen to stay with us is testament to the fantastic workplace the firm is. We look forward to the new and second year trainees continuing their fledgling careers at the firm and hope many will be with us for years to come.”
