Speakers:

Donna McCarthy, Partner, Housing Management & Property Litigation

Donna heads up a team advising on all aspects of housing management law and practice, acting for Local Authorities, Registered Providers and private landlords in complex litigation, including possession proceedings; actions to restrain Anti-Social Behaviour; injunctions and disrepair actions.

Rebecca Brady, Chartered Legal Executive, Housing Management & Property Litigation

Rebecca advises and accepts instructions from Local Authorities and Registered Providers on all aspects of housing and tenancy management, including possession claims and injunction applications based on a wide range of issues such as Anti-Social Behaviour, tenancy fraud, sub-letting, rent arrears, access issues and other breaches of tenancy. Rebecca also advises on disrepair, service charge disputes and general property litigation in both the County Court and the First-tier Property Tribunal.

Zoe McLean-Wells, Solicitor, Housing Management & Property Litigation

Zoe advises on all aspects of housing management and practice including possession proceedings, injunctions, leasehold enfranchisement, forfeiture, service charge issues, fire safety, Tribunal proceedings and lease interpretation.

Zoe’s clients are predominately Registered Providers but she has also historically advised high street lenders, fixed charge receivers and private landowners.

Hannah Keane, Solicitor, Housing Management & Property Litigation

Hannah joined Devonshires Solicitors in 2015 as Paralegal in the Securitisation Team. After taking six months out to complete her Legal Practice Course, Hannah returned to Devonshires as a Paralegal in the Housing Management Team, where she advised on various issues of disrepair and assisted solicitors on further matters arising out of social housing such as subletting and anti-social behaviour.
