Aruna Sarwar and Charlotte Sawyer hosted a seminar on stock rationalisation with Charles Cleal and Simon Latson of JLL on 28 September 2018. The seminar was followed by a networking lunch.

The event attracted a full house of delegates, including representatives from Southern Housing Group, the Guinness Partnership, CBRE Global Investors and Touchstone CPS.  Feedback from the seminar included comments that it was a “very informative, structured presentation” that “highlighted and focused on all the key points and challenges ahead”.

In answer to the rent cuts which were announced in 2015 and following an epic year in 2017, stock rationalisation will continue to be a critical component of our client’s strategy to enable them to adjust to the sector’s requirements and the challenges of central government.

Over the next few years, RPs will need to develop a rationalisation programme which is based on the organisation’s specific needs and objectives and to focus on what they do best to meet the ever-changing demands of the sector.
