Seven trainees join, six trainees move up and six trainees qualify

Devonshires has seen another successful year for its trainee solicitor programme.

On Monday 30th September, we welcomed seven new trainees (pictured above) who will undertake a two-year training contract to become qualified solicitors.

The new trainees; Lale Ali, Abbie Grimwood, Charlotte Ingram, Mahzabin Choudhury, Ellie Fletcher, Adam Mathewson, and Llewellyn Perkins, will each embark on four six-month seats as part of their training contract with Devonshires.

Adam, Charlotte, Lale, and Llewelyn were previously paralegals at Devonshires.

Our new trainees join Hannah Keane who joined in April 2019 and is currently sitting her second seat.

Second-year trainees

Adam Hardy, Rebecca Goodwin, Bryony Hewer, Natalie Kent, and Francesca Grossman were on our trainee intake in October 2018 and have all moved into their second year and third seats.

Hannah Mitchell is in her fourth seat and will qualify in April 2020.

This brings our total trainee solicitor count to 13.

Newly Qualified

We are also delighted to have been able to offer newly qualified roles to 100% of our 2017 trainee intake. Well done to William O’Brien, Merrik Morgan, Katie Grohmann, Harry Petrou, Maral Zarrinmehr and Yaasica Hamilton-Haye who will all qualify on 15th October 2019.

William O’Brien, who qualifies into our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, says: “Training at Devonshires has been a fantastic experience. I speak for all my intake when I say I can’t wait to be a fully qualified part of the Devonshires team”.

Our training application process for 2021 will open in April 2020.
