RICS consultation process regarding Guidance Note on consistency in EWS1 requests
On 8 January 2021, RICS announced a consultation process in relation to a proposed Guidance Note for the valuation of properties in multi-storey, multi-occupancy residential buildings with cladding.

The MHCLG explains that the “one-page supplementary note is on the purpose and intent behind ‘Building safety advice for building owners, including fire doors’, particularly those parts which covered external wall systems and balconies. It should be taken into consideration alongside the existing advice, dated January 2020.”
