The Building Safety Bill: the Amendments

In July 2021 we published an overview of the revised Building Safety Bill introduced by the Government following consultation with the construction industry and key stakeholders.

Since then, and with a new Secretary of State at the helm, further amendments have now been proposed.

The Bill is currently progressing through the House of Lords. The amendments are significant and complex – this new briefing note will provide an overview of the same and highlights some of the key proposals along with the likely impact they will have on landlords generally and particularly those who are registered providers of social housing.
