Leading Construction Lawyer Joins the Devonshires Team


We are delighted to announce that leading Construction lawyer, Richard Anderson, today joins Devonshires as a Partner in our Construction & Engineering Department.

Based in our Leeds Office, Richard will advise clients and be responsible for expanding and developing Devonshires’ Construction & Engineering offering to clients in the North.

Richard’s notable areas of expertise include advising on major infrastructure projects particularly in the building, power, infrastructure and engineering sectors. He also advises on procurement strategies, risk management and dispute avoidance; acting for clients which include hotels, tramways and universities as well as residential, utilities and retails sectors.

Prior to Devonshires, Richard was a Partner at both Pinsent Masons and Gateley PLC working in their Construction Services Team in the areas of contentious construction, dispute avoidance and real-time project management.

Devonshires Leeds Office opened in February 2017 and is managed by Partner Chris Drabble. The office has gone from strength to strength since opening its doors in Park Square, with the team quadrupling in size. The team specialises in banking, securitisation, construction, real estate, employment and pensions matters.
