Areas of expertise

Rachel is a Partner in the Banking team, advising on a broad range of financing arrangements, including public bond issuances, private placements, loan facilities, intra-group funding arrangements, facility restructurings, group refinancings and interest rate derivatives.

Rachel is particularly recognised for her expertise in advising issuers on multi-million and billion pound public bond issues and debt issuance programmes, providing strategic and commercially focused advice throughout the lifecycle of these transactions.

She also has extensive experience advising on merger-related consents and complex refinancing transactions, having acted on a number of significant housing sector mergers, including Southern Housing, Notting Hill Genesis, Bromford Flagship and acquisitions for Places for People and Abri.

In addition, Rachel leads Devonshires anti-money laundering compliance practice helping organisations navigate their regulatory obligations and manage financial crime risks effectively.

Experience

Rachel qualified into the Banking team in October 2015 having completed her training contract at Devonshires.

Conferences

Rachel has joined panel discussions at the NHF Treasury in Housing Conference, Devonshires Fraud Conference and CHC One Big Conference, amongst other events. 

Rachel delivers regular webinars on AML compliance matters.

Education

Rachel graduated from Kings’ College, London with an LLB in Law before completing her LPC at BPP, Waterloo.
