Areas of Expertise

David has over a decade of experience in Real Estate and specialises in complex Land Acquisition and Development Projects and large-scale title due diligence exercises. He counts Registered Providers, institutional and private investors, business owners, lenders, landlords and tenants amongst his clients.

He draws upon his experience in Real Estate and his passion for emerging technologies to help deliver dynamic solutions to his clients, and consistently delivers outstanding results to tight deadlines. Client care is at the heart of David’s practice and is deeply driven to developing relationships.

David founded and is a lead member of Devonshires’ Innovation Group, a 10 plus strong multidisciplinary team of lawyers, IT experts, marketeers dedicated to harnessing technology including AI, task tracking and contract management to drive efficiencies, find new opportunities and to continually improve the firm’s services to its clients.

David frequently acts for Registered Providers, private equity funds and private developers as well as individuals on a vast range of property matters. Some of his key clients include Blackstone, Sage Housing Limited, MTD Housing, Park Properties, Clarion Housing Association, Hightown Housing Association, Anchor Hanover and Orbit Group.

Experience

David qualified as a solicitor in 2014. Prior to joining the Real Estate & Projects department of Devonshires, he was the lead commercial property solicitor and office-manager at a boutique law firm in St John’s Wood.

Education

David graduated from the University of East Anglia with an LLB in Law and French Law, before completing his LPC at BPP in Holborn.

Personal

David and his wife Ariane like to travel, as much as their jobs will let them! His favourite places visited in the last twelve months are Canada, the Big Sur, and Iceland.

When not working or overseas, David can be found pottering around the house doing DIY and making furniture.
