Matthew works with organisations across the housing sector – registered providers, funders / investors, local authorities and developers – on a broad range of commercial, corporate and regulatory matters.

On the transactional side this includes structuring of investment / funding models, joint ventures, corporate group structuring, public / private partnerships, mergers and acquisitions. Advisory work includes new registrations, regulatory compliance, governance, subsidy control, grant and HRA matters.

Experience

Prior to joining Devonshires, Matthew was a partner at Bevan Brittan working in the housing market.

Conferences

Matthew regularly attends and speaks at conferences. He recently spoke at the CIH Housing Conference in Manchester.

Education

Matthew qualified as a Solicitor in 2006.
