Demetrios is a Solicitor in our Banking, Governance and Corporate Team.

In the Corporate team, Demetrios has assisted with a range of share transfers, acquisitions, investments and general corporate advisory matters for a variety of commercial clients.

In the Banking team, Demetrios has assisted with loan agreements, restatements and bond issues for Registered Providers and commercial clients.

Experience

Demetrios trained with Devonshires and qualified in October 2023.

Demetrios graduated from the Mishcon de Reya Sports Law Academy 2019-2020 which involved attending seminars and discussing sports law issues with solicitors and guest speakers.

Education

Graduated in 2020 from University College London (UCL) with a 2:1 in Law (Upper Second-Class Honours).

Graduated from the University of Law in 2021 with a distinction in LPC with MsC in Law, Business and Management.

Personal

Demetrios has a keen interest in sports law and is a passionate football fan who plays regularly with friends and for the Devonshires 5-a-side football team.

Assisted with the amalgamation of Optivo and Southern Housing Group Limited to form Southern Housing.

Assisted with Clapham Park regeneration scheme and joint venture between MTVH and Countryside.

Assisted with a collective enfranchisement dispute regarding the valuation of the freehold and development value on behalf of a Registered Provider who ultimately achieved settlement.

Assisted with Devonshires having acted for Greenwich Leisure Limited on the 100% share acquisition of York Stadium Management Company Limited from York City Football Club.
