Gary is a Partner and Head of Banking, Corporate, Governance & Employment, nationally. He is a banking law specialist and also co-heads the Leeds office alongside Chris Drabble.

He acts for borrowers, lenders and trustees on real-estate finance related arrangements, with a particular specialism in social housing finance, where he is ranked as a leading practitioner in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 directories.

He has extensive experience of advising on a range of financial instruments and arrangements, including syndicated and bilateral loan facilities; facility restructurings; mergers; group collapses; intra-group funding; interest rate derivatives; private shelf facilities, and high-value private bond issues.
