Areas of Expertise

Fay is an Associate in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team with a wide breadth of expertise across a range of commercial disputes. She is adept at dealing with high-value and complex disputes with multi-jurisdictional elements.

Fay has been involved with matters including bringing and defending claims for breach of contract, negligence, commercial fraud and shareholder disputes. She also has experience working in insolvency matters and debt recovery.

Her cases often involve work before the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, and she has also been involved in commercial arbitrations before the London Court of international Arbitration.


Experience

Before joining Devonshires, Fay worked at a boutique litigation firm where she also completed her training contract.

Fay studied law at the University of Nottingham, thereafter completing her LPC, which she converted into a Legal Masters, achieving a distinction in both.

Fay successfully obtained a £10 million judgment in a commercial fraud case against the previous management of an investment brokerage company.

Fay has acted for clients both in litigating and defending multi-million-pound claims for breach of contract, negligence and other contractual disputes.

Fay has successfully settled matters by way of out of court dispute resolution mechanisms, including at mediation and in arbitral proceedings before the London Court of International Arbitration.
