Areas of Expertise

Hannah works closely with housing associations, local authorities and private developers with a particular focus on planning, development and regeneration schemes.  Hannah heads up our planning team and advises on all aspects of town and country planning including drafting and negotiating section 106 and infrastructure agreements, advising on appropriation, planning appeals and listed buildings.

Hannah is also a Board Member for Golding Homes and chairs the renumeration and governance subcommittee.

Experience

Prior to Devonshires, Hannah was Head of Development (London) at law firm Clarke Willmott, where she advised on joint ventures, acquisitions, and redevelopments. Before that, she was a principal property and contracts lawyer at Clarion Housing Group, where she advised on  the Merton Regeneration Project.

Hanna’s recent experience includes:

  • Acting on the acquisition of 750 affordable housing units at Silvertown Quays from Lendlease,
  • Advising on two planning public enquiries including drafting and negotiating complex section 106 agreements, and
  • Advising a housing association on a large housing regeneration project in Windsor.

Hannah has also previously worked at a number of local authorities including Medway Council and Newham Council.

Education

Hannah graduated from De Montford University with a BA Honours degree in Public Administration and Managerial Studies, before completing her LPC and CPE at the London Metropolitan University.

Personal

Hannah is a member of Surrey County Cricket Club.  She is keen swimmer and runner and enjoys spending time with her three children and two black labradors.
