Areas of Expertise

Charlotte is an Associate in our Housing Management & Property Litigation team. Charlotte has predominantly acted for Registered Providers principally in relation to disrepair, possession, rent arrears, injunction orders. Charlotte has also historically advised lenders, fixed charge receivers and private clients in relation to various disputes including forfeiture, breach of lease / covenants and fire safety obligations.


Experience

Before joining Devonshires, Charlotte worked at Weightmans from March 2021 to October 2024 within the Property Litigation team advising Registered Providers primarily in relation to disrepair. From November 2024 to June 2025 Charlotte worked at Walker Morris in the Housing Management team.


Conferences

Charlotte has given training in relation to litigation strategy, Awaab’s law, and the Environmental Protection Act 1990.


Education

Nottingham Trent University, 2015, Law LLB (Hons)


Personal

Charlotte is currently learning Korean and Japanese in her free time alongside a gruelling schedule trying to train (and tire out) a very large, recently adopted German Shepherd x Labrador puppy. Charlotte is also an avid baker and is currently trying to renovate an old (and slightly crumbling) cottage.


Professional Membership

Leeds Junior Lawyers Division – Bar Representative for 2025. Charlotte leads initiatives to strengthen links between junior solicitors and barristers in Leeds.
