Chris is a Solicitor in our Employment team.
Chris qualified as a Solicitor in 2018, and his work covers a mixed caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters.
His litigation experience includes defending all manner of Employment Tribunal claims, with a particular emphasis on unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, TUPE and claims under the Equality Act 2010.
Chris has extensive experience in all aspects of the Employment Tribunal process, from providing advice during the initial Acas Conciliation right the way through to undertaking his own advocacy in the Tribunal.
Chris’s non-contentious work includes drafting and negotiating employment contracts and policies, advising on TUPE and corporate restructures and dealing with general HR queries. Despite his junior PQE, Chris advises on pensions issues arising on local authority contracting.
Chris has particular experience advising housing associations, local authorities, recruitment companies and education providers.
