Areas of Expertise

Deniz is a third seat Trainee Solicitor currently in our Housing Management & Property Litigation team.

As part of her training contract, Deniz’s first seat was with the Real Estate & Projects team working on street acquisition projects.

Deniz’s second seat was in the Construction team working on contentious dispute matters acting for employers, developers and contractors. Deniz also worked on insurance and fire safety legislation advice pieces.


Experience

Prior to Devonshires, Deniz worked at VWV as a commercial property Paralegal, emphasising on healthcare sector conveyancing. She also worked within the commercial department during the 2018 GDPR enforcement.

After University, Deniz worked in-house at a property management company in the enfranchisement team, completing leasehold extensions and freehold purchases and working on wayleave contracts.


Education

Deniz graduated from Bournemouth University in 2019 and completed the LPC and LLM in 2024 at The University of Law studying the course part-time whilst working as a Real Estate Paralegal at Devonshires.


Personal

Deniz is a foodie, always excited to try new dishes and flavours from across the world. She has recently bought a cookbook with West African and Middle Eastern twists.

Deniz is a keen volunteer, and has volunteered at courts, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, food banks, women’s aid charities and refugee programmes.
