Notable Cases

Lina worked on a rare case under section 37 Highways Act 1980 which had national implications affecting highway authorities across England and Wales. The Crown court found that a road with no through route on the Halliwick Park Estate in Friern Barnet was not of sufficient public utility to the public to justify becoming maintainable at the public expense under section 37(2) of the Highways Act 1980.
