Liz is a highly experienced real estate lawyer with particular expertise in social and affordable housing, property development and regeneration. She advises housing associations, registered providers, developers, landowners and other clients on a broad range of complex and high-value real estate transactions. Her expertise spans the full lifecycle of a development, from strategic land acquisition and site assembly through to development, delivery and disposal. Liz regularly advises on acquisitions and disposals, strategic land, development and package agreements, conditional contracts, option agreements, joint ventures, golden brick and turnkey transactions, infrastructure agreements, mixed-use development and complex leasehold arrangements. She also has extensive experience in commercial and residential property, portfolio management and regeneration projects, combining technical expertise with a practical and commercially focused approach.

Experience

Liz has almost 20 years' experience in the real estate sector and has developed a particular specialism in the social and affordable housing market. Throughout her career, she has acted on significant and complex property and development projects and has built strong, long-standing relationships with clients across the housing and development sectors. Most recently, Liz has successfully built and led a dedicated Real Estate Social Housing practice in Wales, progressing from Senior Associate to Partner and ultimately Senior Partner. She is immensely proud of the practice she has developed and the client relationships she has established along the way. Earlier in her career, Liz was appointed Solicitor for Wales for the Leasehold Advisory Service and led a residential property department at a Bristol law firm, giving her extensive experience across both residential and commercial real estate. Recognised by Chambers and Partners for Social Housing in Wales and by Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner, Liz is an active and well-connected member of the Welsh housing sector and is known for her collaborative, relationship-driven approach and her ability to understand the wider strategic and commercial objectives behind her clients' projects.
