Areas of Expertise

Mahzabin is an Associate in our Property Security team.

She is part of a team that advises Registered Providers on charging portfolios of properties to loan facilities, bond issues and private placements. Mahzabin is also part of the Deed of Variation team; and carries out deeds of variation for clients seeking to uplift the value of their properties or make them suitable for charging. Additionally, Mahzabin carries out intra-group transfers for clients seeking to transfer properties from one group entity to another, in readiness of charging.

Experience

Mahzabin joined Devonshires Solicitors in 2019 as a Trainee Solicitor and undertook seats in our Property Security, Real Estate & Projects and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Departments. She previously worked as a residential property paralegal at another City law firm. She acted for lenders in respect of their repossession sales; and private clients on property sales, purchases and re-mortgages.

Education

Mahzabin graduated from Middlesex University with a First Class Honours LLB (Law) Degree. She completed the LPC at The University of Law and achieved a Distinction.

Personal

Mahzabin enjoys yoga, training at the gym and hiking in her spare time. She is a big ‘foodie’ and loves trying different cuisines with her family and friends. Mahzabin also enjoys travelling.
