Areas of Expertise

Marisa works primarily with Registered Providers and those in the care sector on a wide range of property transactional matters providing a holistic service to include large scale stock transfers, leasing and portfolio management, title consideration and development work.

She is experienced in acting for Registered Providers, charities and companies looking to invest in property.

Experience

Marisa trained at a large regional property law firm, Martin Tolhurst Solicitors within their commercial property department. Marisa then worked at Cripps LLP for 6+ years where she was as a Senior Associate in their Investment team, specialising in many aspects of portfolio management including buying and selling commercial property, drafting and negotiating leases for a wide range of commercial property interests and a range of work for social housing providers.

Marisa joined Devonshires in 2022 in the Real Estate and Projects team.

Personal

Marisa is currently renovating her period home, which is a former farmhouse built in 1840. She lives right in the countryside where she keeps chickens and grows her own allotment fruit and vegetables and just loves to be outside.

Marisa has a keen interest in art and really enjoys painting.
