Areas of Expertise

Rebecca advises on housing management and property litigation matters with extensive experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters. She works predominantly with registered providers, as well as private landlords, charities, cooperatives and trust estates. Rebecca specialises in possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour, injunctions and tenancy enforcement, with particular expertise in cases engaging the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Equality Duty. She works with clients pre-and post-litigation to identify risk, reduce exposure and promote collaborative approaches to complex cases, including those involving vulnerability and safeguarding issues.

Personal

Rebecca loves spending time outdoors, whether walking her energetic 3 year old German shepherd or riding her horse - though she does prefer the fair weather version of outdoor life! She enjoys travelling and has recently explored Japan and South Korea, with plenty more places still to tick off her list. Rebecca never tires of simple pleasures, like starting her day with the smell of fresh bread and a cup of Yorkshire tea and relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening sun (when the Yorkshire weather actually allows it!).
