Areas of Expertise

Robyn specialises in residential conveyancing and development work, with particular expertise in acting for developers and housing associations. Her experience includes advising on turnkey and golden brick agreements, development agreements and associated transfers, as well as infrastructure arrangements, land disposals and section agreements. Robyn has a strong understanding of the full development lifecycle and works closely with clients to ensure transactions progress efficiently and in line with commercial objectives.

Experience

Prior to joining Devonshires, Robyn worked within the legal land team at a national housing developer supporting on a wide range of development matters. Before this, she gained experience at a city law firm within a residential property post-completion team, developing a solid grounding in conveyancing processes and title matters.

Personal

Outside of work, Robyn enjoys travelling and exploring different destinations. She also loves trying new restaurants and going on long countryside walks with her two miniature schnauzers, Dexter and Darcy.

Notable Cases

Advised on a series of turnkey and golden brick transactions for a national housebuilder, including drafting and negotiating agreements and coordinating the transfer of partially completed units to Registered Providers. The work involved managing tight delivery deadlines and ensuring compliance with funding requirements, while liaising closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth completions.

Supported on multiple development agreements for residential schemes, including negotiating key commercial terms and overseeing the associated land transfers. This included dealing with complex title issues and ensuring that contractual arrangements aligned with the practical delivery of the developments.

Advised on infrastructure and section agreements in support of residential developments, working alongside planning and technical teams to ensure obligations were clearly documented and deliverable. This included reviewing agreements and ensuring that legal commitments aligned with development programmes.
