Umar is a Paralegal working within our Housing Management & Property Litigation team. He acts mainly on behalf of social housing providers in housing disrepair claims, as well as in Claims for Possession, EPA matters, Anti-Social Behaviour and Breach of Tenancy Injunctions, and Committal Proceedings.

In relation to Claims for Possession, Umar advises landlords on cases of Anti-Social Behaviour, rent arrears, as well as fire and gas safety. 

Experience

Prior to joining Devonshires, Umar was previously employed at Horwich Farrelly Solicitors, a firm specialising in Insurance Litigation, acting on behalf of leading Insurance companies on litigated, high value money claims.
