Areas of Expertise

Alice qualified into the Banking, Corporate and Governance team in October 2014 having completed her training contract at Devonshires Solicitors. She assists the team on a wide range of transactions including bond issues, private placements, financial due diligence, security arrangements, intra-group funding on the banking side. Alice also has experience on the corporate side, having acted for both registered providers and private clients on acquisitions, joint ventures, private investments and various commercial contracts. Alongside Gareth Hall, Alice has advised many Registered Providers on the transfer of consumer credit regulation from the OFT to the FCA and assisted with their applications for consumer credit licences.


Education

Alice graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in English and Philosophy before completing the GDL and LPC at BPP College in Holborn.


Personal

Alice enjoys most sports and has recently completed her third half marathon. Her enthusiasm for football, and Liverpool FC, is confined to the armchair.

Alice is also a keen musician and sings with the Devonshires choir at charitable events and competitions.
