Chloe joined Devonshires in January 2022 and specialises in both non-contentious and contentious construction matters. Chloe regularly acts for private developers, contractors, housing associations, consultants and sub-contractors, on both commercial and residential construction projects.

Chloe’s work includes:

Advising on all forms of construction contract, including consultant appointments; building contracts; sub-contracts; performance bonds; guarantees and collateral warranties.
Carrying out construction due diligence and assisting with funding arrangements for asset and share sales / purchases, refinancing transactions, and acquisitions.
Advising on contractual processes such as: termination; contractor insolvency; and payment terms etc.
Assisting on adjudication; mediation; and TCC claims.

Experience

Prior to joining Devonshires, Chloe worked as a paralegal both in private practice and in-house for a London based property portfolio, advising on construction documents including building contracts; framework agreements; funding arrangements; professional appointments; and collateral warranties. She also assisted with construction due diligence and advised on minimising risk from a construction perspective.

Education

Chloe graduated from the University of Westminster with first class honours in Law. She then went on to complete the CILEX Graduate Fast Track Scheme and obtained her Higher Rights of Audience in 2025 (Chambers only).

Personal

In her spare time Chloe enjoys travelling, cooking and fitness.
