Areas of expertise

Didi advises businesses and individuals on all aspects of Employment law, covering both contentious and non-contentious matters. She regularly supports companies with day-to-day HR issues, including employee exits, restructures, discrimination claims, the review of contracts and policies and settlement of issues. Didi represents both claimants and respondents in the Employment Tribunal.

She has extensive experience in resolving complex disputes and situations, as well as identifying and addressing issues at an early stage to help minimise the risk of Employment Tribunal litigation.

Experience

Didi qualified as a solicitor in 2019. Before joining Devonshires, she worked at a reputable Legal 500 leading law firm. She has experience advising a wide range of clients across various sectors, supporting both national and international businesses.

Education

Didi graduated from University of Birmingham with a LLB (Bachelor of Laws) and completed her LPC and LLM in Legal Practice at the College of Law, Manchester.

Personal

Outside of work, Didi enjoys keeping active, musical theatre, singing and dance. She enjoys travelling and discovering new places.

Didi was shortlisted for the Insider North West Young Lawyer of the Year award in 2023.

Assisted on the employment law aspects of a successful corporate transaction involving the acquisition of a specialist international transport company.

Negotiated and secured settlement of a discrimination claim brought against a well-known hotel client.

Successfully negotiated the release of a senior executive from their complex post-termination restrictions, including agreeing the terms of their departure from their employer.
