Notable Cases

Obtained an outright possession order in a case where a tenant had died leaving his adult son in occupation. The son failed to engage with the landlord or provide any information to enable them to assess his claim to succeed.

Obtained an ASB Injunction against a Housing Association tenant who had terrorised multiple private tenants living in a neighbouring flat. This issue had also impacted the private landlord who owned the flat and had to deal with a high turnover of tenants moving out of his property because of the perpetrator.

Settled a disrepair claim where the damages originally sought totalled £9,500 and proceedings had been issued. Claim settled for £3,850 with any works to be completed within 80 days.
