Olivia Woolnough
Areas of Expertise
Olivia qualified as a Solicitor in September 2022 and joined the Construction team at Devonshires in July 2024. Olivia previously worked in-house for a large design & build contractor before joining the Construction team at an international law firm. She has experience acting for both developers and contractors, advising on construction documents including JCT contracts, professional appointments and collateral warranties.
Experience
Following qualification Olivia spent nearly 2 years working as a corporate Solicitor, predominantly advising charity and education sector clients. She has advised on the funding aspects of a redevelopment project set to create affordable housing and community space, as well as the investment of funding received under the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme. In July 2024 she returned to practising construction law in which she has previous legal experience both in-house and in private practice.
Education
Olivia studied law at the University of Sheffield before completing the LLM in Legal Practice at BPP Law School in London.
Personal
Outside of work Olivia enjoys sailing and yoga. She is also a huge fan of Formula 1.
