Vacation Scheme
Our application window for our Summer 2026 Vacation Scheme will open on 1 February 2026 and close on 28 February 2026. Please keep an eye on this page for the application link. The scheme will take place from 22 June 2026 to 3 July 2026 inclusive.
Our Vacation Scheme is open to applicants moving into their third year of undergraduate study and above. Places are available in our London, Birmingham and Leeds offices.

The Devonshires Vacation Scheme enables you to spend time within two of our specialist departments carrying out ‘real-life’ legal work and contributing to live cases. During the two-week placement there will be ample opportunity to network with colleagues both inside and outside of your assigned departments. You will also be paired up with a current Trainee to find out more about Devonshires and our training contract provision. Throughout the scheme we offer a combination of activities including Lunch & Learns and a variety of social events.
You will receive a Living Wage salary for the duration of the scheme

Applicants for our Vacation Scheme can express an interest in our Training Contract as part of their Vacation Scheme application. Our Vacation Scheme is an integral part of our training contract recruitment process. Candidates who attend the scheme undergo various assessments in place of the trainee recruitment assessment centre.
