Asset & Liability Registers

A well-maintained Asset and Liability Register is essential for every social housing provider. It offers a clear, accurate record of owned properties and associated liabilities, providing the foundation for sound financial planning, asset management and strategic decision-making. Whether considering acquisitions, disposals, upgrades, merger activity or unsecured funding options, organisations rely on the quality of their data to act with confidence. As experienced asset register solicitors and advisers on asset and liability register UK compliance, we support providers in developing registers that are thorough, reliable and fully aligned with regulatory expectations.

Accurate registers support regulatory compliance and ensure providers understand any restrictions on use, disposal or valuation. They also play a critical role in meeting building safety requirements, supporting net zero strategies and enabling organisations to respond quickly to new opportunities. Our team understands how title issues, planning constraints, funding conditions, lease structures and historic documentation affect both the value and usability of stock. We bring decades of experience advising providers on the information required for robust asset and liability management.
