Services

General Corporate Banking

We help corporates, trustees, investors and funders put the right banking and finance structures in place – and keep transactions moving from term sheet to completion. Working within UK banking and finance law, we focus on giving you a clear route through each stage of the deal, so you know what needs to happen and when.

    How We Work

We combine technical depth with plain, practical communication. Whether you need a banking and finance lawyer to structure new debt, a corporate finance lawyer to support an acquisition, or strategic guidance from our wider team of financial services lawyers, we keep the process clear and focused on outcomes.

At the outset, we help you map the most efficient funding route, taking into account pricing, security, covenants and the practicalities of implementation. We then prepare and negotiate the loan, security and ancillary documents to reflect the commercial deal, working closely with your internal team and other advisers.

A Partner or senior finance lawyer will lead your matter, keeping the timetable on track and the documentation aligned with your commercial goals. Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 regularly recognise our team for responsiveness, judgement and the ability to balance detail with commercial priorities.

You will work with a team that is pragmatic, commercially aware and closely involved in the detail of your transaction. Matters are partner-led, with day-to-day support from lawyers who understand both the legal and practical constraints you are working within.

We build long-term relationships with our clients, many of whom instruct us across multiple deals and funding cycles. That familiarity helps us anticipate issues, streamline negotiation points and tailor documents to how your organisation operates in practice.
